On 13th September 2025, the Department of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, organized an industrial visit for the second-year students (Batch 2022). A total of 51 students participated in the visit and benefited by gaining valuable exposure to the techniques and advancements in the modern pharmaceutical industry.

The visit was arranged to Shri Bhuvaneshwari Aushadhashram Pvt. Ltd., Gondal and Dada Organics Ltd., Padvala. The main objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial practice, enabling students to understand how traditional Ayurvedic knowledge is applied in large-scale production settings.

During the visit, students were introduced to different specialized departments such as the Production unit, Packaging department, Labelling section, Record maintenance section etc. This exposure helped the students understand how industrial-scale operations differ from traditional small-scale preparations, and how every step in the process contributes to maintaining the overall quality of the final product.

The students also gained knowledge about quality control measures, regulatory standards, and the integration of modern technology with classical Ayurvedic methods. This experience proved highly beneficial in enhancing their practical understanding, professional outlook, and awareness of industry expectations from Ayurveda graduates.

The visit was successfully coordinated by Dr. Rohithkrishnan G. B. (Associate Professor) and Dr. Jigar Vekariya (Assistant Professor).
