On August 28, 2025, the Department of Agad Tantra, RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, organized an educational visit to Aarambh De-addiction Centre. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with a deeper understanding of the realities of addiction, explore various treatment modalities, and gain insights into the significant challenges faced by individuals on their journey to recovery.

The visit offered a firsthand look at the pervasive nature of addiction and how it affects individuals from all walks of life. A particularly powerful part of the experience was the opportunity to hear the personal accounts of Mr. Yashoshbhai Parikh who shared their experiences and highlighted the profound physical, psychological, and social consequences of addiction. Students also observed the center's holistic approach to treatment, which emphasizes the integration of medical interventions, counseling, and spiritual guidance. The daily routine was a key learning point, with students observing therapeutic regimens that included yoga, meditation, and group therapy sessions. Discussions also covered the use of Ayurvedic medicines and other therapeutics modalities in the treatment of addiction.

This valuable educational visit was led by Dr. Pankaj Bhange and Dr. Shivangi Malaviya, under the guidance of our director, Dr. Manoj Pande. We extend our sincere gratitude to Hiteshbhai Narodiya from Aarambh De-addiction Centre for his valuable support and cooperation.
