On the 12th, 13th, and 14th of February 2026, the Department of Agadtantra and Vidhi Vaidyaka, organized a comprehensive three-day educational visit to the Environment Audit Lab at RK University, authorized by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board.

Students from II BAMS participated in this immersive program, which was designed to translate classroom theory into practical skills and to deepen students’ understanding of environmental monitoring and pollution control.

During the visit, students learned about hazardous waste handling and disposal protocols, and witnessed laboratory research and monitoring workflows. Interactive Q&A sessions allowed students to discuss interpretation of results, the significance of regulatory standards, and the practical challenges faced by pollution control board in the field.

We extend special thanks to Kshitij Dhameliya, Vijaysinh Jadeja, and Durgesh Parmar from the Environment Audit Lab for generously sharing their technical expertise. This visit was led by faculties from department of Agadtantra and Vidhi Vaidyaka Dr. Pankaj Bhange, Dr. Shivangi Malaviya, and Dr. Akhila G with the guidance and support of our Director Dr. Manoj Pande.

This educational experience bridged the gap between theoretical coursework and real-world application, equipping students with practical insights into environmental audits, pollution control strategies, and the interdisciplinary nature of environmental health work.
