Plantation at Herbal Garden

Department of Dravyaguna organized plantation on 30/07/2019 at Nakshatra Vatika. Mr. Denishbhai Patel (Executive Vice President), Mr. Shivlal Ramani (Registrar) and Dr. Pushpalata Kamble (Principal) planted the saplings of Lavanga, Beejapuaraka, Parushaka. Students of first and second year and all faculties enthusiastically planted more than 100 plants at Herbal garden with an oath of properly taking care of each sapling after the plantation. Dr. Pushpalata Kamble told students the importance of each and every plant in perspective of common man as well as an Ayurvedic Physician. Dr. Shweta Shetty – Assistant Professor, Department of Dravyaguna, explained the importance of plantation in Nakshatra Vatika and explained that as per Nakshatra there are total 27 plants and one who plants and protects such Nakshatra plants gets long and healthy life. Along with Nakshatra vatika and Rashi Vana, saplings of Tamalpatra, Ramaphala, Pippali, Puga, Sindoori, Ela, Rudraksha etc were planted by the students.
